Customer Reviews
Rating great little steamer
I recently purchased this loc and found that the back to back measurement of the wheels of the rear bogie were no where near what they should be. Once this was adjusted the loco went well. It fires easily and has a very smooth operation.

I just received my 2-8-8 Forney yesterday. My impression: WOW! First of all, thanks to Mark at Silver State for his great service. A first class operation in my books. This is only my second Accucraft Loco, the other being a 0-4-0 Ruby in kit version. I was impressed with the Forney's solid packaging and the bulk of the engine. Although you can see similarities with the Ruby line, this is more than just a scaled up version. It is much more solid and a little bit more detailed.
